Improve Your Business Performance with Ultrafast Business Broadband Speeds

Fast-paced businesses like yours deserve broadband that can keep up the pace. With Ultrafast broadband packages from Elite, you can keep your business moving and enable your team to be more productive than ever before.

Ultrafast business broadband, also known as Full Fibre or FTTP (Fibre To The Premises), uses fibre optic cabling exclusively with no copper lines involved at all. It is the most powerful broadband technology in the UK today, boasting speeds up to 12x faster than other broadband products with performance that is unaffected by cable length.

Reliable Connectivity for Better Business Processes

Getting the right broadband for your business isn’t just about the connection or wi-fi – it’s about the partner behind it. Elite manage the entire journey, from checking availability and recommending the right package, to installation, ongoing support and more.

Unlike going direct to a network provider, you get a dedicated account manager, a single point-of-contact for any issues and the flexibility to combine your voice, mobile and unified communications, all under one roof.

Fast, effective connectivity, from experienced business broadband specialists – keeping your operations moving in the right direction at all times.

Key Features

Capitalise on the best-performing broadband service in the UK today.

Exceptional Speeds

Where it is available, Ultrafast Business Broadband can deliver maximum download and upload speeds of 1000 Mbps and 115 Mbps respectively.

Accelerating Coverage

Ultrafast Business Broadband is spreading across the UK, with availability at over 60% of homes and premises at the time of writing.

Resilient Network

Our resilient network provides a range of security options, including managed Firewalls and VPN solutions to encrypt your online traffic.

Reliable Service

Poor weather or distance from the exchange will never impact the performance of Ultrafast Business Broadband.

Ultra-Low Latency

Experience near-instantaneous data transfer with significantly reduced latency compared to traditional copper-based broadband; ideal for intensive cloud applications.

Symmetrical Speeds

Support heavy data uploads as easily as downloads. Full Fibre allows for much higher upload thresholds, perfect for businesses frequently sending large files to the cloud or backing up massive datasets.

“When we looked at our existing suppliers, side-by-side, Elite Group stood out as the provider who looked after our needs the best. Elite Group were always available to speak with when we contacted them, ready to offer advice, and we had access to a dedicated account manager who ensured our needs were always being met. It made sense that we would look to shift all communications to them.”

“Due to my technology background, I immediately knew that our existing telephony system was not fit for purpose, especially during the stresses of the current pandemic. It was a high priority to support our staff and our customers with the demands of the new way of working. We needed a system that we could use onsite, on the go and from home, which we could manage ourselves, but still have support on hand.”

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ultrafast (FTTP) the right broadband product for my business?

Ultrafast Business Broadband is, quite simply, the most reliable broadband technology for speed and consistency. It will also future-proof your business against the 2027 PSTN Switch-Off when all older PSTN-reliant services will be decommissioned. If Ultrafast is available at your address, it’s a must-have.

How does Ultrafast (FTTP) compare to SOGEA broadband?

SOGEA is a new version of Superfast Business Broadband, but has been designed to work after the 2027 PSTN Switch-Off. This means it still uses copper for the ‘last mile’ (between the street cabinet and the end premise), so it is subject to the speed and reliability issues that copper connections can experience. As a full fibre service, Ultrafast Business Broadband doesn’t have these limitations, so it is naturally a better choice.

What routers are compatible with Ultrafast (FTTP)?

Ultrafast Business Broadband doesn’t need a router with a VDSL modem, as the modem is built into the master socket equivalent (known as ONT – Optical Network Termination). This means the connection uses Ethernet termination (RJ45), so any router/firewall with a WAN configurable Ethernet port can be used.

Fibre Business Broadband doesn't use a copper phone line, so how do I make and receive calls?

If you haven’t switched to a digital voice product already, Ultrafast Business Broadband packages present an excellent opportunity to do so. Voice is delivered over the internet on a digital phone line, instead of the PSTN network, providing crystal clear calls and an array of features and benefits that Elite can tailor to business needs.

How do I find out if I can get Full Fibre Business Broadband?

Openreach is rapidly deploying the full fibre network, so your chances of availability are increasing all the time. If you are unsure about availability, please get in touch, and we’ll check for you.

Do you need to access my premises to install a fibre broadband connection?

If ONT or fibre cables need to be installed – yes. In some cases, we can just enable the service on an existing ONT, requiring no access.
